What is the difference between the packages?
The packages differ significantly in depth and structure. BASIC: overall reader experience and big-picture feedback STANDARD: chapter-by-chapter analysis with more detailed comments PREMIUM: developmental-style manuscript critique with deeper structural and narrative analysis
Do you provide inline comments in the manuscript?
Inline comments are not included by default. Please contact me before ordering if you specifically want comments directly inside the manuscript.
Is this proofreading or copy editing?
No. My focus is story feedback, reader experience, structure, pacing, characters, and overall manuscript effectiveness. While I may occasionally point out recurring language issues, this is not a proofreading or grammar-editing service. I do have another gig for those requirements though ;)
What genres do you read?
I read most fiction genres in English and German, including fantasy, romance, mystery, thriller, literary fiction, historical fiction, and YA. I do not read horror and anything than contains gore, torture, or the like - yes, I am squeamish :)
What kind of feedback can I expect?
I provide honest, constructive, and actionable feedback from a reader’s perspective. I will point out: * what works well * where pacing slows down * unclear or overwritten sections * character or logic issues * emotional impact and reader engagement
