Should I contact you before placing my order?
Yes, please do! Discussing your project beforehand will be helpful to make sure we're on the same page before we begin.
What's the difference between Brand Essentials and Brand Style Guide?
The Brand Essentials covers basic color palette, typography, usage guidelines, and samples of logo application on different items (mock-ups). A Style Guide on the other hand is a more extensive and thorough document (more info below). Please feel free to ask for samples of each for comparison.
What's on a Brand Style Guide and why do I need one with my logo?
A Brand Style Guide is a document detailing all elements and features related to your logo -color scheme, typography, measures and proportions, right usage, patterns, etc. It's an instruction manual for your logo that will help you or your designer keeping a cohesive visual identity for your brand.
Can you create a Brand Style Guide for an existing logo?
Yes, I can create a Guide for an existing logo, but only after reviewing it first -I need to ensure that the logo is viable for a cohesive and professional brand identity. If I find that the logo may not work well for this purpose, I’ll be happy to discuss possible improvements or alternatives.
What exactly will I get from the Basic package?
With the Basic package ("Getting started") you'll get the Brand Essentials for your existing logo -a document with guidelines on color, right usage and typography. This is very useful for keeping a cohesive visual identity throughout all the branded material and social media.
What will I get from the Standard package?
With the Standard package ("Going beyond") I'll send you 3 professionally designed logo concepts for you to pick one from. Then I'll create the Brand Style Guide for your new logo, an extensive document detailing all its elements and features -colors, typography, measures, proportions, patterns, etc
And what do I get with the Premium package?
The Premium package ("I want it all") includes 3 logo concepts, the Brand Style Guide for the chosen logo, plus a branded stationery set design -business cards, envelope and letterhead.
And what about revisions? What are they and what do they mean?
A revision is a minor modification on the selected logo concept -some small detail, color, sizing, etc., anything that doesn't mean redesigning the concept from scratch. Up to 3 instances of revision are included on the logo design packages, each an opportunity to request one or more small changes.
Do I have to ask for revisions?
Asking for revisions is not mandatory. You'll be hiring a professional, so you'll get original, harmonious and effective logos created with your target audience and your brand values in mind. You'll get logos that work! Keep in mind that further modifications may affect the performance of the logo.
Can we make a videocall before we start working together?
Of course, we can certainly make a call -I offer video consultations starting from USD 50 for a 30-minute call, and USD 80 for a 60-minute call. Please contact me beforehand so we can schedule a time that works for both of us.
