About this Gig
Most backtesting looks convincing. Most strategies still lose money live. The gap is almost always in what wasn't tested.
I run a proper tradingview backtest on your strategy or tradingview indicator, written in Pine Script (or replicated in Python if you'd rather work outside TradingView) and give you a straight, honest verdict, not a sales pitch to get a good review.
What's covered in a full trading strategy backtest:
- Testing across multiple assets and timeframes, not just one chart
- Realistic costs commission and slippage, not a zero-cost fantasy
- A clear read on whether performance holds up or was likely luck
- Full metrics: win rate, profit factor, max drawdown, net profit
- Pine Script or Python whichever fits your setup better
If the strategy doesn't hold up, that's still a useful result you find out before the market makes you pay for it.
Send me your strategy rules or existing Pine Script/Python code, and the asset/timeframe you want tested I'll confirm scope before starting.

FAQ
Do you use Pine Script or Python for the backtest?
Either — whichever fits your setup. If you already have Pine Script code, I'll work with that directly. If you'd rather not deal with TradingView's limits, I can replicate the strategy in Python for more flexible testing.
What if my strategy doesn't perform well in the backtest?
You'll get the honest numbers either way. A "this doesn't hold up" result is still valuable — it's cheaper to learn that now than after risking real capital.
Which assets/markets can you test?
Stocks, forex, crypto, and commodities — anything with accessible historical price data.
