About this gig
Is it a march with scottish pipes that you are creating or is it an orchestral piece needing a nice snare instrument to complete the percussion section, or maybe it's a movie and you need an authentic snare sound for your soundtrack? This instrument is very versatile and can be added to a wide arrange of styles, like hip hop or drum and bass, where it fits so nicely!
No matter what the case is, I'd be glad to record with this instrument, which is one of my most favourite ones in this percussion world of ours.
I'm a professional musician for over 10 years now and am fluent in different styles of music. I'm really passionate about playing and always looking forward to new and interesting projects to which I can contribute with playing.

Hello there!
My name is Andrey Velkov. I live in Sofia, Bulgaria and have been working as a musician for more than 10 years. I graduated from the Bulgarian National Music Academy in 2015 and have been working on different projects and as a teacher ever since. My main instrument is the drum set but I play lots of different percussion instruments such as Bendir, Darbuka, Bodhran and some other percussion instruments on lower level of expertise. I'm playing in different projects based in Sofia, in a variety of music styles.

I was working with a bagpipe sample with really unique timing and I was having a lot of issues doing my own drum programming. I was looking for a very specific sound and for it to be in time with the sample. He performed it perfectly and the audio quality was great! Also he was very easy to work with. Thank you!
