I will edit your youtube videos, documentaries and video essays

About this gig
A long-form video lives or dies in the middle. Most editors cut clips. I build
the structure first, then cut to it.
On my own channel I've edited 195 videos in 9 months for 646,000+ views. My
24-minute documentary on the Hans Niemann chess scandal pulled 10,937 views and
94 comments from a channel with 235 subscribers people stayed because it
didn't sag in the middle.
WHAT I EDIT
- YouTube long-form, documentaries and video essays
- Podcast, gaming and commentary content
- Educational and explainer videos
WHAT YOU GET
- Structural pass on your footage or script
- Clean cuts, pacing, music and sound design
- Color grading, subtitles, motion graphics, thumbnail (by package)
- Cut in Adobe Premiere Pro, delivered in your format
I'm a FIDE Arena International Master and a chess coach, so chess and strategy
content is where I'm fastest but the storytelling travels to any niche.
Message me before ordering with a link to a video you've already published.
I'll tell you what I'd cut differently and why, free.

FAQ
Do you only edit chess videos?
No. Chess is where I'm fastest because I play and coach it, but I edit long-form in any niche podcasts, gaming, education, commentary. The editing craft is the same.
What do you need from me to start?
A link to your raw footage (Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer), any script or notes you have, and one reference video whose style you like. That's enough.
My video is longer than 25 minutes. Can you still do it?
Yes. Message me with the length and footage amount and I'll send a custom offer.
Will you write the script for me?
I don't write scripts from scratch, but I do restructure. If your footage has the material and the order is wrong, I'll fix the order.
