There is a reason most small business websites feel the same. They are the same. A theme bought once and resold a thousand times, filled in with your logo and your photos, then handed over slow and heavy because it carries code written for everyone except you.
I do not work that way. I design and code each site from scratch, for one business, by hand - HTML, CSS and JavaScript, on Astro or React when the project needs it. No page builders, no themes, nothing you will find on another company's site next month. The result is a site that loads almost instantly. My last build scored 100 out of 100 on Google's mobile performance test, and you can verify that yourself the day I hand it over.
I take on a small number of projects at a time, so each one gets proper attention. You get a live preview link from day one and watch it take shape.
Before I moved to building for the web, I spent seven years in IT running servers and networks for companies, schools and clinics. That is why my sites arrive deployed, secured and monitored, not zipped and emailed.

FAQ
Why does this cost more than most gigs here?
Because it is a different product. Most cheap gigs are a bought theme with your content dropped in. I design and code your site from scratch, which takes one to three weeks and produces something nobody else has. If a theme is all you need, buy the cheaper gig with my blessing.
Do you use WordPress or page builders?
No, and that is deliberate. WordPress and builders like Elementor add weight you pay for in loading time, plus updates and plugin conflicts forever. I hand-code in HTML, CSS and JavaScript - far faster, nothing to maintain monthly. If you need WordPress specifically, tell me and I will say so.
What do you need from me to start?
Less than you think. A short conversation about what your business does and who you want to reach, your logo if you have one, and any photos you like. I write the text and send it for your approval. If you have no photos, I will tell you exactly what to shoot on a phone.
Can I see it before it is finished?
Yes. You get a live preview link early and it updates as I work, so you can comment at any point instead of reviewing everything at the end. Nothing is a surprise on delivery day.
What happens after the site goes live?
The site is yours, on your own hosting account, with no lock-in and no mandatory fee to me. I include a handover so you can change text and photos yourself. If you would rather I maintain it, that is available separately, but you are never trapped.
Do you work with clients in other timezones?
Yes. I am in Central Europe and work with clients across Europe and the US. I reply within 24 hours on business days, usually faster, and I will tell you upfront if something will take longer than you hoped.
Can I update the text and photos myself later?
Yes. I connect a simple editor where you log in and change text, photos and prices yourself, with no code and no developer needed. If you would rather not touch it at all, send me the changes instead. I walk you through it at handover.
What will hosting cost me every month?
Usually nothing or a few euros. Because the site is light and static it runs on the free tier of Cloudflare or Netlify for most small businesses. You pay for your domain, roughly 10 to 15 euros a year. No monthly theme or plugin fees.
I have no text or photos yet. Is that a problem?
Not at all, this is normal. I write the text based on a short conversation about your business and send it for your approval. For images I can use good licensed stock, or give you a short shot list you can do on a phone in an hour.
What if something breaks after delivery?
If something I built stops working, I fix it free for 30 days after delivery - that is on me, not on you. New pages or features are quoted separately before I start, so you always know the cost in advance. Longer maintenance is available if you want it.
