Capture a great DI without clipping and noise. Always check the DI’s before recording: run them though various ampsims (make sure that there’s no noise gate engaged in the plug-ins you’re using for the monitoring or for checking the DI).
Strings
Fresh strings, perfect intonation on frets, well set-up instruments. If needed, use paper towels to mute unneeded strings(Dm me I will send you a photo)
