About this Gig
Have you ever wondered why some readers connect deeply with a story while others lose interest before reaching the end?
As an author, you are deeply connected to your characters and world, which can make it difficult to notice pacing problems, weak emotional moments, confusing scenes, or areas where readers may lose engagement.
I provide professional beta reading feedback to help you see your manuscript from a reader's perspective and strengthen the overall reading experience. I read your book as your target audience would, identifying the moments where readers become deeply invested, as well as the places where pacing slows, immersion breaks, emotional impact weakens, or questions begin to appear.
My Beta Reading Process:
- First Read Reader Experience
- Second Read (Double Beta Reading) In-Depth Analysis
- In-Manuscript Notes
- Professional Reader's Report
- Detailed Critique
- Actionable Feedback
Genre I love to read
- Sci-fi Beta Reading

He caught continuity problems other readers missed and told me what not to touch as clearly as what to fix. Nearly every note led to a real revision, and I'll be hiring him again.

Ongoing collaborationMax read my novella exactly the way I asked — chapter by chapter, notes taken as he went, and every comment tied to a specific page and line. He was honest about where he lost interest and where he stopped believing the narrator, and he caught continuity problems that every earlier pass had missed. I would hire him again without hesitation.
