I spent eighteen years in UK financial services, and I've been independent reviewer on an anti-money laundering regulation course for an international e-learning platform.
What I check:
Accuracy against primary sources: regulators, legislation and official guidance
Outdated figures, rules or terminology
Whether explanations actually teach, or just state
Consistency between lessons and quiz questions
How it works: I comment directly in your Google Doc or Word file, then send a summary memo ranking issues by importance. Standard and Premium include a check of your revised draft.
Good fit: AML and financial crime, UK financial regulation, mortgages and lending, savings and investments, consumer protection.
Please note: I'm not a lawyer or compliance officer, and my review isn't regulatory sign-off. UK content is my strongest area; for EU material I work from the source texts and will say where a specialist would add value.

Yes, but rewriting takes much longer than reviewing, so I quote it separately once I've seen what's needed.
Is your review legal or compliance sign-off?
No. I check accuracy, currency and clarity against primary sources, but formal approval stays with your legal or compliance team.
What formats do you work with?
Google Docs, Word and PDF. If your course only exists inside an authoring tool, message me before ordering.
Do you review EU content?
Yes, working from the original legislation and guidance. UK regulation is my deepest area, and I'll tell you if part of your course needs a specialist.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes, happily.
How do I know how many words my course is?
Paste your content into Word or Google Docs and use the word count tool. If you're unsure, message me and I'll confirm the right package.
