I am a beta reader! I review your manuscript and am constantly checking in with my analytical (and creative side), posing questions to myself such as:
What kind of emotive response does the writer create within me?
Is the dialogue natural or forced?
Is this character fully developed or more static?
How do I feel about this character?
Does this character's action seem out of character?
Would this section/storyline be confusing to a reader?
How is the atmosphere, could it be more descriptive? Is the world immersive?
I offer in-document comments so that you receive a beta reader's impressions while reading your work. I provide a 1-page reader report with a summary of my thoughts on your work. In the report, I focus on the big picture: overall thoughts, strengths, weaknesses, what would make the book more compelling, etc.

Favourite books?
I love thrillers! I'm obsessed with anything Paula Hawkins, Shari Lapina, Gillian Flynn, Riley Sieger, etc. I also LOVE the classics and reread Sense & Sensibility constantly. I studied a lot of shakespeare in uni, and took extensive courses in women's lit and indigenous stories.
