I will help with academic tutoring

In initial meetings with students, I work on getting the whole picture; what works, what hasnt, and what may be holding you up. Additionally, I ask what things they enjoy. A student will struggle with any subject if they cant find what excites them in the material. Lastly, I begin the process of integrating their personal and academic lives into one format. Students may be working or responsible for children and other dependents. I encourage them to build options for reviewing information daily; some days you need to be a human and do chores, other days you can commit to material for hours. Removing shame from the equation when you're doing everything you can is a foundational goal I impart on all of my students.

We will develop a plan to maintain study habits, develop resource banks, and work on reviewing material.
