Why did my Facebook pixel stop working on Shopify?
Shopify removed Additional Scripts on August 26 2026. If your pixel code was pasted there, it no longer fires. We rebuild it as a web pixel or checkout extension so your events report again.
My Google Analytics shows no purchases. Is my store broken?
Your store is fine and orders still process. The purchase event just stopped firing when checkout.liquid went away. We reconnect GA4 through Shopify customer events and verify purchases show up again.
My tracking broke after the checkout upgrade. How fast can you fix it?
The audit takes 2 days and a core migration takes 5. If your reporting is already dark, message us before ordering and we will prioritize the scripts that feed your ad accounts.
Do I need this if I never touched my checkout code?
Maybe. Old apps and past developers often left code in Additional Scripts without you knowing. The audit lists everything you have and what breaks, so you know before it costs you data.
Can an app fix this or do I need a Shopify expert?
There is no one click app for custom scripts. Each tag has to be rebuilt with checkout UI extensions or web pixels. We are a small Shopify studio and we do this work daily.
Will my ads keep running while tracking is broken?
Ads run but the platforms stop receiving conversion data, so campaigns optimize blind and your ROAS reads near zero. Restoring tracking restores reporting and lets the algorithms learn again.
