I build mobile apps that talk to Bluetooth Low Energy hardware sensors, scales, wearables, industrial controllers, custom boards.
Most developers avoid BLE. It fails on details: connection state handling, background reconnect, GATT service and characteristic mapping, chunked writes, iOS backgrounding rules, and Android's scanning and permission quirks across OEMs. I've shipped against real hardware, including a native iOS app for an electronic scale over a transparent UART service with a custom ASCII command protocol.
To scope your job I need:
- Module or chipset, plus any protocol or firmware docs
- iOS, Android, or both
- Whether I get a test unit, or build against a simulator first
- What the app does beyond connecting: display, logging, control, export
You get full source and builds signed under your own developer accounts. If your protocol spec has gaps or the hardware can't do what the app needs, I'll tell you before you order, not after.

Do you need my hardware to build the app?
Not always. If you can ship a test unit, that's fastest. If not, I build against a protocol simulator from your firmware docs and integrate once hardware is available. I'll tell you upfront which path your project needs.
Can you also write an SDK for my device?
Yes. I've written device SDKs including custom encoding and command protocols, so your own developers can talk to the hardware without rebuilding the BLE layer. Quoted separately from the app.
What if my device documentation is incomplete?
Common. I can work a protocol out from logs or a working reference app, but it adds time. I'll quote that honestly upfront rather than discovering it mid-build.
Do you handle App Store and Play Store submission?
Yes, as an add-on. Builds are signed under your own developer accounts, so you own the listings and the app.
Who owns the source code?
You do. Full source is handed over on delivery, every time.
