My Gear
I record with the highest quality 4, 5, & 6 string Dingwall fretted multiscale basses and Wal & Ibanez fretless basses. I record into an Avalon VT-737SP preamp and use physical fx from Fractal Audio, Boss & software amps & fx by FabFilter, SlateDigital, NeuralDSP + others.
My Experience
I have been a professional bass player and producer since 2007, graduating from Goldsmiths College of London (UK), BA Popular Music, in 2012.
I have extensively toured Europe and North America with multiple bands, and have recorded over a thousand albums with my own bands & other musicians.
I also work as a producer, mixing & mastering engineer, so you can be sure that your bass tracks will sound their very best!

What gear do you use?
Custom Dingwall fretted multiscale basses, Ibanez fretless bass, Dingwall strings, Klotz cables, Avalon VT-737SP preamp, Fractal Audio AxeFX, Boss effects. Software amps and fx from Waves, FabFilter, Slate Digital, SoundToys, and many more.
What do you need to record my song?
Just your song! Either WAV or MP3 is fine. A description of what you want in your bass parts. Isolated guitar parts are useful too. If you have bass pre-parts written you can send me sheet music, tab (guitar pro preferred) or midi file. We can discuss further about what you want and need, of course!
What if I don't know what I want the bass to do in my song?
No problem! I have vast experience writing bass parts and I can write the bass lines and record them for your music. If there is anything you want to change, we can work together to achieve the perfect result for you!
Can you record fretless bass? I don't see it listed in your packages.
Absolutely! When ordering, please add the optional extra titled "Fretless Bass". This will convert your order into a fretless bass performance instead of a fretted instrument that is included as standard. I use the highest quality fretless instruments to give your music the best tones possible.
