What does line editing include?
Line editing focuses on improving your manuscript at the sentence and paragraph level. I’ll work on clarity, flow, sentence structure, rhythm, word choice, readability, repetition, awkward phrasing, and tone consistency while preserving your author voice.
Will you rewrite my manuscript?
No. This gig does not include ghostwriting or heavy rewriting. I may revise sentences for clarity and flow, but I will preserve your meaning, structure, voice, and message.
Will you change my writing style or voice?
No. My goal is to strengthen your writing while keeping it sounding like you. I focus on improving clarity, readability, and rhythm without flattening your natural tone or personality.
What file format should I send?
Please send your manuscript as a Microsoft Word document, preferably in .doc or .docx format. This allows me to edit using Track Changes so you can review every change clearly.
Will I receive Track Changes?
Yes. You’ll receive an edited Word document with Track Changes so you can see all edits, revisions, and suggestions. I can also provide a clean copy if included in your package or requested.
