I'm Antonella Pintado, a qualified architect with 8+ years of experience across Argentina, New Zealand, Australia and the US.
This gig provides architectural design review, markups and practical advice based on your existing design. It is ideal if you already have a project underway and want an experienced architect to identify potential issues before they become costly to fix.
Depending on the package, I can review:

Preliminary NCC considerations
Basic R-Codes and setback considerations where applicable

I am not a building certifier, and this service is not an official compliance assessment, certification or approval. I provide preliminary feedback based on my architectural experience. Final compliance should be confirmed by the relevant certifier or authority.

Can you check if my project complies with the NCC?
I can provide a preliminary review of relevant NCC considerations based on the information provided. This is not a formal compliance assessment or certification, and final compliance should be confirmed by the relevant professional.
Do you check accessibility requirements?
Yes. Depending on the project and package, I can review basic accessibility considerations, including relevant requirements of AS 1428.1, and identify potential issues in your drawings.
Can you check setbacks and R-Codes?
es. For applicable Australian projects, I can provide a basic review of setbacks, site-related considerations and relevant R-Codes requirements. This is a preliminary design check, not a formal planning assessment.
Are you a building certifier?
No. I am a qualified architect, but I am not acting as a building certifier in this gig. My service provides architectural feedback and preliminary checks based on my experience.
Can you review my design before I send it to a certifier?
Yes. This can be useful as an early design review to identify potential issues before engaging a certifier or other specialist. It does not replace their formal assessment.
Can you review a Passive House design?
Yes. The Premium package includes a Passive House-focused design review, looking at aspects such as orientation, glazing, shading, insulation, airtightness, thermal bridges and ventilation strategies.
What drawings do you need?
Please provide the relevant drawings for your project, preferably dimensioned PDF or DWG files. The exact information required depends on what you want reviewed.
Will you make changes to my drawings?
The service provides markups and recommendations, rather than redrawing or redesigning the entire project. If you need design changes or detailed documentation, please contact me for a custom offer.
Can you review projects outside Australia?
Yes for general architectural functionality and Passive House principles. However, the NCC, R-Codes and Australian accessibility reviews are specifically based on Australian requirements and may not apply to projects in other countries.
