Do you apply GD&T correctly or just place symbols on the drawing?
GD&T is applied based on functional requirements — datum selection, feature control frame content and tolerance values are all chosen to reflect how the part actually works. Decorative GD&T that does not reflect function is one of the most common and costly drawing mistakes.
What do I need to provide to get started?
A 3D CAD model (STEP, SLDPRT, F3D) is the ideal starting point. If you do not have a 3D model, a dimensioned sketch or reference drawing works. Include any critical tolerances, surface finish requirements and the manufacturing method — CNC, casting, sheet metal or injection molding.
What is the difference between Basic, Standard and Premium?
Basic is a single part drawing with full dimensions and tolerances. Standard is a GD&T drawing set with datum references and feature control frames for up to 5 parts. Premium is the complete manufacturing package with detail drawings, assembly drawing and BOM for up to 10 parts.
Can you match the exact drawing standard my manufacturer requires?
Yes. ASME Y14.5, ISO 1101, DIN and ANSI are all within scope. Tell me your manufacturer's standard requirement before ordering and I will format the drawing accordingly including title block, projection angle and units.
What file formats are delivered?
Every drawing is delivered in DWG for full editability, PDF for sharing and quoting, and DXF for CNC programming. Native SolidWorks drawing files (SLDDRW) are available on request.
Can you create drawings from a physical part with no 3D model?
Yes. Share clear photographs from all angles with a ruler or calipers for scale reference, plus any known dimensions. I will produce a 3D model and technical drawing from your physical sample.
I need drawings urgently for a manufacturing quote — can you help?
