I will audit and fix your website accessibility for wcag and eaa compliance
Web developer who fixes and improves websites and web apps
About this Gig
Since June 2025, the European Accessibility Act (EAA) requires many online shops and services to be accessible. Accessible websites also reach more customers and are easier for everyone to use.
I will check your website against WCAG 2.2 level AA, using automated tools plus manual testing with the keyboard and a screen reader.
What I check:
- Color contrast and text readability
- Keyboard navigation and visible focus
- Image alt text, headings and page structure
- Forms, labels and error messages
- Buttons, links and menus for screen readers
What you get:
- A clear report in plain language: each issue, where it is, why it matters and how to fix it
- Annotated screenshots
- In Standard and Premium, I fix the issues directly in your HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Please message me before ordering with your website so I can confirm it fits.
Note: an audit improves accessibility and helps compliance, but it is not legal advice or an official certification.
I also speak Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil).

FAQ
Does my website need to follow the EAA?
Many online shops, booking sites and digital services sold in the EU must comply since June 2025. Very small businesses (fewer than 10 employees and under 2M euros turnover) offering services are usually exempt. If unsure, check with a legal advisor.
Do you work with WordPress or Shopify sites?
I can audit any website, whatever it is built with. Fixes are included for sites where I can edit the HTML, CSS and JavaScript. For builders like Wix or Shopify, I'll tell you what can be fixed before you order.
What is a page in this gig?
One unique page template, like your home page, a product page or the contact page. Pages that share the same layout usually count as one.
