Do you also execute the test cases, or just write them?
This gig is for writing test documentation only — test cases, test plans, scenarios, and traceability matrices. If you also need someone to execute the tests and report bugs, check out my QA testing gig, or message me and we can combine both.
What format will I receive the test cases in?
Everything is delivered in Excel or Google Sheets, clearly organized with columns for test ID, steps, expected result, and status — ready for your team to use or import into a test management tool.
What do you need from me to get started?
Ideally your requirements document, user stories, or a working link/demo of the app or website. If you don't have formal requirements written down, that's okay — just describe the features and I'll work from that.
Do you write test cases for web, mobile, and SaaS, or only one platform?
All of them. Whether it's a website, an Android/iOS app, or a SaaS product, I can write test cases and plans tailored to that platform's specific testing needs.
What's the difference between a test case, a test plan, and a traceability matrix?
A test case is a single step-by-step scenario to verify one specific behavior. A test plan is the bigger-picture document covering scope, approach, and what will be tested overall. A traceability matrix maps each requirement to the test case(s) that cover it, so nothing gets missed.
How many test cases or features are covered in each package?
This depends on the package you choose — details are listed in each package description. If your project is larger than what's covered, message me and I'll quote a custom package.
Can you write test cases compatible with a tool I already use (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)?
Yes — while I deliver in Excel/Google Sheets by default, I can format the columns and structure to match what you'd need to import into Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar tools. Just let me know which one you use.
