Which source files can I send?
PDF, JPG, PNG or clearly photographed sketches with dimensions. Send the clearest original available. Distorted photos, faint scans, complex curves and incomplete drawings may need clarification or a custom offer.
What will I receive?
An editable 2D DXF and PDF preview with agreed units and basic layers. Sample DXFs use R2010. Tell me your CAD software and required version before ordering so compatibility can be checked. DWG is not included.
Can you work from an undimensioned image?
Provide enough reference dimensions to define all geometry accurately. One length may establish scale, but cannot resolve distortion or missing information. Approximate tracing must be agreed and labelled as approximate.
What is a simple view?
One supplied 2D plan, outline or detail with up to 30 straight segments, arcs or circles and ordinary labels. Each polyline side counts separately. The limit applies to every view in all packages. Dense annotation, irregular geometry and complex curves need assessment.
Will you improve or redesign the source?
This service reproduces the agreed source geometry. New layouts, engineering design, additional projections and design changes are excluded. Missing or conflicting information will be raised for clarification.
Is the output suitable for construction or manufacturing?
This gig supplies a redraw and review PDF. Site verification, engineering certification, tolerances, regulatory approval and manufacturing-process checks are excluded. Tell me the intended use before ordering.
Can you draw smooth curves or trace a logo?
Simple arcs and circles are included. Complex spline fitting, decorative artwork, logo tracing and dense irregular contours require separate assessment and are not included in standard packages.
What does a revision cover?
A revision covers adjustments within the original source and scope, such as labels or layer preferences. New sources, extra views and design changes are additional work. Errors in my redraw will be corrected without an additional charge.
How is scale handled?
Model-space geometry is drawn at 1:1 in the agreed unit. PDF paper size, plotting scale and dimension style are agreed separately. Portfolio previews are illustrations and should not be measured for dimensions.
Can you use my drawing in your portfolio?
Only with your permission. Share only material you are authorised to provide, and identify confidentiality or tool restrictions before ordering. The demonstration projects use original fictional geometry.
