Which project files needed to provide the takeoffs and estimate?
I need the project plans (blueprints) in PDF format.
Do i provide markup files as well?
Yes I provide markups in PDF file along the Complete take-off & estimate
What's the deliverables I accept in the final delivery?
I provide detailed takeoffs and estimates in excel sheet having quantities for individual item with labor and material cost as well. I also provide markups (Marked plans with color coded quantity legends) In PDF form.
From which source I get the pricing for USA & Canada based projects?
I get the pricing from RS Means Online, Home Depot, Lowes, and other online material sourcing sites.
On which software you performed material takeoffs/quantity markings?
I use plan swift and Bluebeam from which I can provide a very high resolution marked plans called markups.
