I will migrate your express js API to nestjs with full feature parity

About this gig
Is your Express.js backend getting hard to maintain? I will move it to NestJS and TypeScript while keeping every route and response the same, so your front end and users notice nothing.
I have done this in production. I was the only engineer on a live Express.js to NestJS migration that reached 100% feature parity, and on the same project I built the authentication, background jobs, and third-party integrations in NestJS.
What the migration includes: Routes moved into NestJS modules, controllers, and services; JavaScript converted to TypeScript, with validated request bodies; Express middleware moved to NestJS guards, pipes, and interceptors; one consistent error format and request logging
I work through your API one module at a time and check each endpoint against the original before moving on. I also explain the changes, so your team can keep working on the code afterwards.
Please message me before ordering with a short description of your backend, such as the number of endpoints, the database, and how login works, so I can confirm the right package.

FAQ
Will my API routes or responses change?
No. The URLs, request formats and responses stay the same unless you ask for changes, so your front end keeps working.
Can you migrate in stages?
Yes. I can move one module at a time, so the old and new code can run side by side while the migration is in progress.
Which databases do you support?
PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Your existing database and data stay as they are.
Do I need to give you access to my server?
No. Access to the code repository is enough. Server access is only needed if you also want help deploying the new version.
What if my code has no tests?
That is common. The Medium and Large packages add tests, so you can see that the migrated API behaves correctly.
Can an AI tool not convert the code for me?
It can convert individual files. A live migration also needs every endpoint checked against the original, and login and middleware rebuilt correctly. That is the part I take responsibility for.
