I will edit and master your audiobook to ACX standards.
This gig is priced per 30 minutes.
Due to disability, delivery time may vary. Please enquire.
My services include:
- Meeting ACX technical requirements. (noise floor, bitrate, peak amplitude, head and tail length, etc.)
- Removal of excess noise, from your space (microphone bumps, footsteps, and the like) and from your performance (mouth clicks, throat noises, pops).
- Spacing and timing adjustments for natural pacing.
- Removal of mistakes, lead-ins, and extra words.
- Proofreading your audiobook for errors. (Standard Tier)
Why you should choose me:
- 3+ years of audiobook and ASMR editing experience.

- I've a breadth of knowledge and take a multidisciplinary approach to my work.
Errors discovered that require pickups will be compiled into a list and delivered on completion of the audiobook. You can then send me your retakes, and I will integrate the changes into the completed work. This may add a few days to the completion time.

FAQ
What can I expect when messaging you?
When you message me, please tell me the total length of your audiobook files and/or word count. I’ll also require a sample of your audio to confirm whether or not I can work with your audio to meet ACX standards. Then we can determine timeframes, pricing, and any other considerations.
I’m unsure if my raw audio is able to meet Audible's requirements, even when mastered. May I send you a sample?
Please do! This will be part of the process when you contact me. I will process your sample, and if it meets both yours and ACX’s standards, and if the terms of our contract are amenable, we may proceed.
Will you upload the book to ACX for me?

Retail Audio Sample?
This is a preview of your book, required for Audible and other platforms. Creation and formatting of this is included in the final price of the gig.
How do your editing revisions work?
Unless otherwise requested, once I’ve finished editing and mastering your audiobook I will provide you with a list of retakes. Depending on the number of items to be edited, this may add a few days to the completed project.
How does your narration revision work?
Included is one round of revision, should you decide you would like for me to narrate your book. This includes a number of words up to 10% of the total word count to fix short passages and pronunciation errors. Revisions exceeding this will be charged at my standard rate of $60/5000 words.
Is there anything you will not edit or narrate?
I will not work on anything that is intentionally designed to harm marginalized communities. If you are unsure if your work falls into this category, please feel free to contact me!
Do you use AI in your work at all?
I do not use AI in my workflow, and I would ask not to be given works created with AI to edit or narrate. Should I learn that you are using AI in your work I reserve the right to terminate our contract.
What file formats do you provide?
ACX requires the .mp3 format. Other formats are available on request.
You quoted a longer time than what Fiverr quoted. Why is that?
I'm not in the best health, and as much as I'd love to edit for hours on end I just can't. This reflects that, and allows for some leeway.
