I add wallet sign-in (Sign-In with Ethereum, or Solana wallets like Phantom) with a proper server session, then gate pages, API routes or content by token or NFT balance.
Proof: I built the wallet flows in my USDC checkout (usdc-checkout-gamma.vercel.app) and in Moat, a Solana vault app (moat-vault.vercel.app).
