About this gig
Two critical PHP vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619, php2shell) let attackers run code on any site with an unpatched PHP version. Patched: PHP 8.2.35, 8.3.36, 8.4.27 and 8.5.12. PHP 8.1 and older get no fix and must move to a newer version.
For any PHP site or app: custom PHP, Laravel, Symfony, Magento, OpenCart, PrestaShop, Joomla, Drupal or a site built years ago.
What I do:
- Check which PHP version runs on your site and server, and whether it is patched
- Switch to a patched PHP version in your hosting panel (cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin) or on your VPS
- Test the site and fix what breaks: deprecated functions, missing extensions, Composer packages
- Security scan, hardening and a report of what I found and changed
- Already compromised? Message me first, then I send a custom offer for the cleanup
How I work:
- Backup first, always
- Your site stays online; I test on a copy where possible
- Access via hosting panel, SSH or FTP. You never share your main password.

FAQ
Which PHP versions are safe?
PHP 8.2.35, 8.3.36, 8.4.27 and 8.5.12 and newer. Anything on PHP 8.1 or older has no patch and must be moved to a supported version. I check this for you in the Basic package.
My site runs an old PHP version. Will it still work on PHP 8.3 or 8.4?
Often with a few fixes. Old code uses functions that no longer exist in PHP 8. In the Standard package I fix those and test the site. A very old or very large codebase gets a custom offer after I have looked at it.
Do you work on my VPS or server?
Yes, in the Premium package. I update PHP on Ubuntu or Debian servers with PHP-FPM, Nginx or Apache, and on managed panels such as Plesk, cPanel and DirectAdmin. Tell me your setup first.
Can you also fix a hacked site?
Yes. Message me first with what you see. I take a backup, remove the malware, update PHP and the application and harden the site. The price depends on the size of the site, so it goes through a custom offer.
Does this cover Laravel, Symfony or other frameworks?
Yes. Framework apps often need updated Composer packages next to the PHP switch. I update the packages that block the new PHP version and test the app. A full framework upgrade is a separate project.
