FAQ
What micing technique and mics do you use?
I prefer the open, more coherent sound of a minimal approach to micing. I use something similar to the Glyn Johns method. I place am MXL V67G Condenser over the snare area, and a Samson C01 Studio Condenser over the floor tom, as well as one bass drum mic in the bass drum.
What recording software and equipment do you use?
I use Fender Studio Pro with a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20. I also have a MOTU M4.
