FAQ
What file formats can I provide you with?
I can work with almost any CAD format including STEP (.stp), IGES (.igs), SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360, Rhino, and STL. If you don't have 3D files, I can also work from 2D drawings, PDF schematics, sketches, or reference images.
Do you create the 3D models from scratch, or do I need to provide them?
Both! If you provide CAD files, I will clean them up, apply materials, and animate them (which is faster and cheaper). If you only have sketches or ideas, I can model the machines from scratch. Message me so I can assess the modeling needs before you order.
Will you add voiceover and sound effects?
I include royalty-free background music and basic mechanical sound effects (gears turning, hydraulics, etc.) to make the video feel professional. I do not provide human voiceovers, but if you have one, I will perfectly sync the animation to your audio.
Why does technical animation take longer than regular 3D animation?
Technical and manufacturing animation requires mathematical precision. We aren't just moving objects; we are simulating real-world physics, kinematics, and complex mechanical movements. Additionally, rendering heavy CAD data at high quality takes significant computing power.
Can you sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)?
