I'm a photographer, visual artist and graphic designer specialising in photobooks, artist publications and editorial print design. With an MA in Photography and Time-Based Media and 8+ years of publication experience, I help artists, photographers and independent publishers turn image collections into thoughtful, print-ready books. My strengths are photo editing, sequencing, typography and image relationships across a spread. I also design exhibition catalogues, magazines and independent music artwork. Send your format, page count and deadline for a tailored quote.
FAQ
Can you select and sequence my photos?
Basic assumes your final selection and order. Standard includes light sequence refinement; Premium includes substantial sequencing within the listed image limit. Large unedited archives need a custom offer.
Do you print and bind the books?
This gig covers design and digital delivery. Printing and binding are not included. I can advise on printer specifications; additional preflight support is available as an extra.
What does one revision mean?
One consolidated list of changes within the agreed design direction. Replacing the archive, adding pages or changing the format after approval is new scope and requires a separate quote.

Alex B. designed the literary zine for my 8th grade class. He took a huge folder of student work and turned it into a masterpiece of a magazine. I was rushing to print before graduation, and basically owe Alex the fact that I still have my job. He was so responsive about little corrections and he got it done quickly and well. It's really a beautiful book.
