FAQ
What do you need from me to get started
Clear photos from a few angles with something for scale (a ruler or coin), plus key measurements if you have them. If you have the broken part, a photo of that helps too.
Can you design a part from just a photo?
Yes. For parts that must fit precisely, I'll ask for a few measurements. For decorative parts, photos are often enough.
What materials do you print in?
PLA for prototypes and indoor parts, PETG for tougher everyday parts, and ASA for outdoor, marine or high-heat use, since it resists UV and weather. I'll recommend the best one for your part.
How strong are the printed parts?
Strong enough for most clips, brackets, covers and housings. I design for strength by adjusting wall thickness, infill and print orientation. For high-load or safety-critical parts, message me first
Do I get the 3D files?
Yes. Standard and Premium include STEP and STL files, so you can reprint or edit the part later.
Do I see the design before it's printed?
Yes. I'll send you renders and dimensions to approve before printing, so there are no surprises.
What if the part doesn't fit?
Send me photos of the fit issue and I'll adjust the design and reprint. That's what revisions are for.
Can you print multiple copies or small batches?
Yes. Add extra copies as a gig extra, or message me for a batch quote.
How big can you print?
Up to about 250mm in each direction in one piece. Larger parts can be split and joined.
