Raster:This file could be a GIF or JPEG file sometimes high and sometimes low resolution you can`t even see objects by zooming 2 Major Disadvantages of Raster file is you can`t change colors and can not set resolutions.

Vector:This file mostly used for Logos where you can change colors of every single object and create any size of file in PNG,JPEG,EPS,AI,PDF ETC.
