Will my website be down during the migration?
No. Your current store stays live and continues to take orders while I work on the Shopify version in the background. We only switch the domain once you’ve approved the new site.
Can you migrate my customer's passwords?
For security reasons, platforms like Wix and WordPress encrypt passwords. I cannot "see" or move them. However, I will show you how to send a "Bulk Account Invite" so your customers can easily set a new password on Shopify.
What happens to my Google rankings?
I implement 301 redirects. This tells Google that your "old-site.com/product-a" is now "new-site.com/products/product-a," which preserves your SEO authority and traffic.
Do I need to buy a Shopify plan first?
It’s helpful, but not required! I can start the migration on a development store and transfer ownership to you when we are ready to go live.
