FAQ
What formats do you provide for the retro 2D pixel art tileset and game environment backgrounds?
I deliver all game asset files in high resolution PNG format along with organized sprite sheets. Upon request, I provide the original layered PSD source file. This ensures seamless integration into popular game engines like Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Game Maker, and RPG Maker software.
Can you create a custom parallax background for a 2D side scroller platformer game project?
Yes, I specialize in designing multi-layered parallax backgrounds that add immense depth to your side scroller platformer. Each layer is separated perfectly and loops seamlessly, allowing your game engine to scroll different background elements at varying speeds for a true retro arcade feel.
Do you design assets for top down indie games or just horizontal side scroller backgrounds?
While my main gig title focuses on side scroller environments, I am fully equipped to design top down pixel art tilesets, isometric RPG world maps, and classic 8bit or 16bit top down grid assets. Simply send a message detailing your specific camera perspective and gameplay mechanics.
Can you match the specific artistic style of classic 8 bit or 16 bit retro video games?
I easily match any nostalgic era, including strict NES 8 bit color restrictions, SNES 16 bit styles, or modern high fidelity pixel art aesthetics. I work closely with your reference images to ensure the game environment, tile sprites, and asset colors align with your creative vision.
Do you offer custom animations for environmental assets, tilesets, or background elements?
Yes, I can animate specific environment assets like glowing torches, flowing water, moving hazards, swaying trees, and blinking neon lights. These loop animations are delivered as organized sprite sheets or sequential frames, making them incredibly easy to code into your active game project.
