FAQ
Do I need to already have Ghost installed?
No. If you are using Ghost(Pro), their managed hosting; I can set everything up directly. If you want self-hosted Ghost on a VPS like DigitalOcean or Vultr, I will handle the installation too. Just let me know which route you are going before we start.
Can you migrate my existing WordPress blog to Ghost?
Yes, but only on the Premium package. I will export your posts, import them cleanly into Ghost, redirect your URLs to preserve SEO, and make sure nothing gets lost in the move. You will need to share your WordPress export file and Ghost admin access.
Which Ghost theme will you use?
For Basic and Standard I work with Ghost's free themes and customise them to your brand, colours, fonts, logo, and layout. For Premium I can also apply paid themes you own or make CSS-level custom adjustments. Tell me the vibe you are going for and I will suggest the best starting point.
Do I need a paid Ghost plan to get memberships working?
Ghost's free plan supports members and newsletters. To accept paid memberships you need to connect a Stripe account, that is free to set up. Ghost(Pro) takes a small transaction fee on the free plan; upgrading to their Creator plan removes it. I will advise you on the best setup for your goals.
How will you deliver the finished site?
I will do a full review, live site checked on desktop and mobile, test post published, newsletter test sent, then record a Loom walkthrough (Standard and Premium) so you know exactly how to manage and publish going forward. Everything is yours from day one.
