What kind of nonfiction do you read?
For fun, I read a lot of different things, from lyric essays to books about all kinds of random subjects. As an editor and beta reader, the work I read for clients covers a wide a range of subject matter. I have edited personal memoirs, self-help books, how-to training material, and more.
Do you also write essays for your clients, or do you just beta read?
I find that it’s best for my clients to write the first draft of their essay or other nonfiction work, even if it’s a rough draft. That way, all the information is there for me to work with. This also gives me a good feel for your writing voice, which I hope to preserve and encourage.
Can you edit my essay to fix grammar and punctuation?
Yes! I would love to line edit your essay or other nonfiction work. For an extra fee, I can do in-depth edits for grammar, punctuation, flow, clarity, tone, ect. If you are interested, please message me, and I can provide an offer.
