Greetings, fellow poet! I can't wait to read and critique your lovely poetry! As a published poet with a master's degree in creative writing, my goal is to help you deepen, polish, and publish your poems. As a beta reader, I provide thorough feedback, suggestions, and developmental edits on just about everything a poet might need help with, such as grammar, tone, line breaks, theme, imagery, word choice, and pacing.

Which poets have influenced your work?
I love the poems of Mary Oliver, Naomi Shihab Nye, Ted Koozer, Sharon Olds, Rumi, Carl Sandburg, and the list goes on.
Can you edit experimental poetry?
It depends on what you mean by "experimental poetry." I love poems that take risks and try new things, but I won't be a good editor for poetry that is needlessly vague or opaque for the reader. My goal is to help you connect with your audience in a direct way.
Can you edit formal poetry, such as sonnets?
Sure! While I'm not an expert on formal poetry, I can show you where the language of the poem is working and where it isn't, though I won't be a great help with knowing exactly how many feet or syllables you need to stick to your form.
Do you like rhyming poetry?
I like rhymes best when they are subtle and don't distract from the images, feelings, and meaning of the poem. I'm not a fan of writing that calls itself poetry just because it rhymes.
