About this gig

A lot of what gets sold as a web app is a page with a form. This is the other thing: a login, a database behind it, roles, and an admin who can change things without calling you.

I run five of these in production. Client portals at emptybar.app where each client signs in and edits their own data, built on Next.js and Airtable, deployed on Vercel behind auth. A campaign site with tokenized volunteer route pages and a live organizer dashboard, used by real volunteers in the field. A newsletter platform with scripted issue builds.

Stack: TypeScript and Next.js, Supabase or Airtable for the back end, Vercel or Cloudflare for hosting, Stripe when money moves, Resend or EmailOctopus for mail. Real domain, real DNS, real certificate.

What you get: a deployed app on your own domain and your own accounts, the source code, and documentation. Nothing keeps running on my login after handoff.

Tell me who signs in, what they see, and what they change. That is enough for me to scope it.

Empty Bar LLC is a one person studio in Hastings, Minnesota, doing CRM and data operations: Salesforce NPSP, Airtable, EveryAction and NGP VAN, DonorPerfect and GiveCloud migrations, and Power BI reporting. Recent work includes a campaign site and voter file pipeline for a Minnesota House race, a newsletter platform built on Airtable, a Shopify store taken from brand to launch, and two React Native apps in both app stores. Design and brand identity when a project needs it. I ask questions before quoting, and I say when you do not need what you asked for.
