FAQ
Can you modify a premium or third-party plugin?
I don't edit its files directly - the next update would wipe the changes. Instead, I build a small add-on plugin that hooks into it, so you can keep updating safely. If the plugin offers no way to hook in, I'll tell you before you order.
Do you need access to my site?
Not for development - I build and test on my own staging copy. For installation or work with your existing data, I need a temporary admin account (sometimes SFTP). You can delete it right after delivery.
Who owns the code?
You do. You get the full source code - no license keys, no obfuscation, no lock-in. Any developer can maintain it later.
Will the plugin slow down my site?
No. Scripts and styles load only where they are needed, and database queries and autoloaded options are kept to a minimum. I build for high-traffic sites, so performance is part of the design, not an afterthought.
Will it keep working after WordPress updates?
I use only official WordPress APIs and test on current WordPress and PHP versions. Code that follows WordPress standards rarely breaks on updates. If a bug of mine shows up within 14 days of delivery, I fix it for free.
What should I send before ordering?
A short description of what the plugin should do and who will use it, plus examples or screenshots if you have them. Rough notes are fine - I'll ask questions and confirm the scope before we start.
Do you offer support after delivery?
Yes. I can maintain the plugin and add new features later. Just message me and I'll send you a custom offer.
