How does it work?
- I read the whole book in an analytical way (if it is written in Italian, for the texts in English, I request the text, a synopsis and an explanation of the text from the author);
- I write a technical analysis aimed at producing a design project;
- I prepare a brochure with the graphic elements and test layouts translated from the previous analysis and design project;
- I compose and send the cover.

Why do you do a text analysis?
The analysis is useful to understand what the real core of the book is; this step serves to establish the true basis on which I will go to work later.
Why are you preparing a brochure to send to the author?
The brochure is sent to the author by definition or modification of the graphic elements, as well as so that the author can choose, among the proposals when multiple, which option he prefers.
If I already have an idea about the cover of the book, do you make it exactly as I tell you?
No, I don't work that way. If you already have an idea about the cover, you can discuss it with me, so as to analyze the pros and cons of your idea and if, or how, it can be implemented and declined in the project.
I already have some artwork that I would like to use on the cover, can you use it?
Yes sure. In my role as a professional designer, if you already have some artwork (of which you own the rights of use), I help you to understand what is the best way to use it, analyzing its compositional structure, dimensions and colors, so as to create a harmonic and effective cover with it.
