You've spent hours writing your manuscript, shaping your story, and bringing your ideas to life. Now you need to know one important thing before publishing: how will real readers experience your book?
I will beta read your manuscript and provide honest, thoughtful, and constructive reader feedback to help you strengthen your story before it reaches your audience. My goal is to help you see your work from a readers perspective while preserving your unique voice and writing style.
After reading your manuscript, you will receive a detailed reader report covering key elements such as plot flow, pacing, character development, dialogue, engagement, and overall reader experience. I will highlight what works well and suggest areas that could be improved to make your story even stronger.
I work with both fiction and non-fiction manuscripts and welcome most genres including romance, fantasy, mystery, thriller, sci-fi, and short stories.
Please note that this service focuses on beta reading and reader feedback, not full proofreading or editing. However, proofreading can be added as an extra if needed.

What exactly is your feedback style? Is it harsh?
I believe in "rigorous kindness." I won’t sugarcoat what isn’t working because I want your book to succeed, but I will never be cruel. My feedback focuses on the story’s needs, not personal preference. Think of me as your manuscript’s coach: I’m here to push you because I know your story can win.
Do you read all sub-genres of romance?
Yes! From "closed-door" sweet romance to high-heat contemporary, paranormal, or dark romance. I am comfortable with all spice levels. If your story has specific triggers or extremely niche themes, feel free to message me first to ensure we’re a good fit for one another.
Will you fix my grammar and typos?
As a beta reader, my focus is on the "big picture" pacing, character chemistry, and plot holes. While I will naturally flag glaring errors that pull me out of the story, this service is not a substitute for a final line edit or proofread. I’m here to make sure the heart of the story beats correctly.
What if I’m nervous about sharing my first draft?
Every best-seller started as a messy first draft! I treat every manuscript with total confidentiality and respect. My job isn't to judge your process; it’s to help you polish your gem until it shines. We are a team.
Can I ask follow-up questions after you deliver the report?
Absolutely. I don’t just "drop and run." If you need clarification on a specific note or want to brainstorm a quick fix for a plot hole I identified, I’m happy to chat.
