Transforming Ideas into Engaging, Ready to Publish eBooks
About this Gig
You finished your book. The last thing you want is readers leaving one-star reviews about plot holes, inconsistent characters, or grammar mistakes a second pair of eyes would have caught.
That's what I fix before your book ever reaches a reader.
I work with self-published authors preparing their manuscript for Kindle or paperback release developmental editing for story structure and pacing, copy editing for prose and dialogue, and proofreading for the small errors that undercut an otherwise great book.
Here's how it works:
For developmental editing, I read your full manuscript and give you a detailed report on structure, pacing, plot logic, and character consistency the big-picture issues no proofreading pass will ever catch. This is the stage where a good draft becomes a book readers finish in one sitting.
For copy editing, I go sentence by sentence tightening prose, smoothing dialogue, cutting repetition without losing your voice.
For proofreading, I catch what's left: spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting inconsistencies, so your published book reads clean from page one.

FAQ
Will my manuscript actually be ready to publish after your edit, or will I still need to hire someone else?
After a Standard or Premium edit, your manuscript will be publish-ready. If your book needs a developmental pass, I recommend starting there before copy editing — trying to polish prose in a manuscript with structural issues means redoing work later.
You have no reviews yet. Why should I trust you with my manuscript?
Fair question. I'll send you a short sample edit on the first few pages of your manuscript before you commit to a package, so you can see my editing style and decide if it's the right fit.
Do you edit fiction and nonfiction, or just novels?
[Answer based on your actual scope — specify genres/formats you're comfortable with
Do you use Track Changes in Word, or a different tool?
I deliver edits using Word's Track Changes with margin comments, so you can review, accept, or reject each suggestion individually.
Can I request a second round of revisions if I'm not happy with the first pass?
Yes — each package includes a set number of revision rounds (see package details), so we can refine the edit together.
