Why should I choose you?
I hold a master’s degree in linguistics, have published my own book, and spent several years working in advertising, marketing, and journalism in Germany and Australia. Since 2021, I have worked as a freelance editor and writer, supporting authors and businesses in bringing their stories to life.
Are you a native German speaker?
Yes. I was born and raised in Bavaria in a German-speaking household. I also studied German linguistics and literature at university, so you get native fluency plus academic-level language expertise.
Do you also edit English texts?
Yes. While I’m not a native English speaker, I studied English at university and completed my Master’s in linguistics. I regularly proofread for clients in the UK and USA who come back for repeat projects.
Do you rewrite and edit any type of text?
Yes, I proofread and edit texts of any topic, length, and style. For AI-generated content and translations, I offer a separate gig, because this type of text needs a different workflow (more restructuring, consistency work, and style harmonization). Please let me know if your text was AI-generated.
