Proofreading focuses on fixing surface-level errors (grammar, spelling, punctuation, and basic typos). Post-editing/Rewriting goes deeper, fixing unnatural syntax, repetitive phrasing, awkward AI phrasing, or rigid translation patterns to ensure the text sounds completely natural in French.
Do you use automated tools or AI to correct texts?
No. All proofreading is done 100% manually to preserve your personal style, context, and nuance, things automated software often misses.
Will I be able to see the changes you made?
Yes! You will receive two files: 1 A document showing every edit made using Track Changes. 2 A clean, final version ready to be published or used immediately.
What if my document exceeds 5,000 words?
For long documents (books, long theses, full website content), send me a message with your word count and deadline. I will send you a custom offer with a customized price and timeline.
What formats do you accept for proofreading?
I prefer Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx) or Google Docs so I can use the Track Changes feature. If you have a PDF, text file, or website link, please message me before ordering to confirm.
