How do you proofread and edit my manuscript?
What I do is copy editing. Copy editing is the process of revising written material to improve readability and fitness, as well as ensuring that text is free of grammatical errors.
Do you do line edit, structural edit, and critique?
No, I don't offer these services.
Can I edit for British and American English?
Yes. I do this perfectly
Do you accept PDFs?
If your manuscript is a PDF, please contact me before placing an order. If your book doesn't have graphic designs, we may be able to use OCR software to convert it to a Word document so I can work on it. This means I don't accept PDFs with graphic designs.
What format should I submit my work in?
I accept Microsoft Word files (.doc, .docx, .odt) because this will permit me to track all the changes I will make in your document. If your manuscript is a PDF, please contact me before placing an order.
Do you do book design?
No, I don't do book design. If you need to add shapes, colors, stylish texts, and other graphic elements to your book, you will need to use the service of a book designer when I finish proofreading and editing your manuscript. Please note that book design is different from book formatting.
Do you use software in editing?
Never! I am a Pro. I will go through your whole manuscript.
