What information do you need before starting?
I need a brief description of the issue, your FortiGate model and FortiOS version, network topology if available, and the relevant configuration details. Remote access or configuration export may be required depending on the project.
Can you configure a site-to-site VPN?
Yes. I can configure and troubleshoot FortiGate site-to-site VPNs, including routing, firewall policies, phase 1 and phase 2 settings, and connectivity validation.
Can you troubleshoot remote-access VPN issues?
Yes. I can investigate FortiClient and FortiGate remote-access VPN problems, authentication issues, routing, policies, and connectivity.
Does the Basic package cover a complete firewall deployment?
No. The Basic package is intended for one clearly defined issue. Complete deployments, multiple VPN tunnels, major redesigns, or multi-site environments should use Standard, Premium, or a custom offer.
Will you make changes directly to my production firewall?
Only with your authorization and after reviewing the requested scope. For significant changes, I recommend that a current configuration backup is available before implementation.
Do you provide documentation?
Yes. Basic configuration notes are included where appropriate. More detailed technical documentation can be included in larger packages or as an additional service.
Do you support Sophos, UniFi, Cisco, or other network equipment?
Yes, I have experience with additional network and security platforms. However, this Gig is focused primarily on FortiGate. Please contact me before ordering for other technologies.
