I prefer working with high-quality or raw formats like Apple ProRes, DNxHR, or EXR (linear) for the best results in Nuke. However, I can also work with high-quality MP4 or MOV files depending on your project's needs.
Why do you use Nuke instead of After Effects for compositing?
Nuke is the industry-standard node-based compositing software used in major Hollywood productions. It offers superior control over color space, 3D integration, and complex layering, ensuring a much more cinematic and professional result for your visual effects.
My green screen footage is not great quality. Can you still work with it?
