About this gig
I know how to captivate readers with just one image. I hold a First Class BA (Hons) in Fine Art and have 25 years of illustration experience. My unique drawing style is something I can guarantee you won't find elsewhere, and would be perfect for the right story.
I know how to help you tell your story. As a writer and graphic novelist myself, you couldn't put yourself in better hands! I can relate to the day-to-day struggles of being a writer. But rest assured that much of my own work has thrived, and with strong, exciting visuals, I can make yours thrive too.
I know how to design covers in all sorts of formats; physical books, ebooks, and even interactive graphic novels, to name a few examples of what I've done in the past.
I will provide you with:
- Book covers designed in any format you require.
- High-resolution final pieces in PDF or any other required file type
- Simple or complex designs, depending on your budget and preference
- My "creepy" folk-inspired drawing style which you won't find anywhere else!

Can you add text?
Of course! Any text I add will be handwritten, and depending on the style and complexity of what we are looking at, it might be worth negotiating a custom order. :)
Will you design the entire book cover?
Most certainly. :) As long as you clarify what size/format of book you are printing, I've got you "covered" - no pun intended... ;)
What if I don't know exactly what I want on my cover?
That's absolutely fine - I've been there before too, as a writer myself. If it helps, we can have a chat first about your book, and I can help you find the most engaging visuals in your story that your readers will love.
What genres will you illustrate for?
I'm open to anything, but I particularly specialize in fiction: Sci-Fi, Horror, and Mystery are the genres which I have the most experience in.
What is the process?
First, I will send you a sketch of the basic design. Then if you are happy I will work on the next stage: line art. At the end I will correct the colour balance so it's engaging, pleasing and captivating. And of course I will offer you one chance to revise the image at any stage. :)
