I am Alberto De Claraval, a published bilingual author with three books completed. I know what a manuscript looks like from the inside, the fear behind every first draft, the gap between the story you imagined and the one you wrote.
My developmental feedback follows the Via Claraval method: I read first to understand your story on its own terms. I tell you what is genuinely working. Then I tell you, honestly and specifically, what needs attention and why, covering voice, structure, pacing, and character.

What is developmental feedback and how is it different from proofreading?
Proofreading fixes grammar. Developmental feedback works on the deep structure — voice, pacing, character, narrative arc. I read your manuscript as a published author, looking at what the story is trying to be.
My manuscript is longer than your package limit. Can I still order?
Yes. Start with Basic — your first 1,000 words reveal more than any other section. Or message me before ordering and I'll build a custom offer that fits your word count and budget.
How long will it take to receive my feedback?
Basic: 3 days. Standard: 5 days. Premium: 7 days. I treat every deadline as a commitment. If anything changes on my end, I'll tell you immediately — I don't go quiet mid-project.
Why does it matter that you are a published author?
Because I've sat where you are. I've written a first draft that didn't work and found out why. I read your manuscript as someone who knows what it costs to finish — not as a critic.
Will your feedback be honest even if the manuscript needs a lot of work?
Always — and that is the point. I tell you what is working before I tell you what needs attention. A writer who only hears what is broken loses the courage to fix it. I offer both.
