Proofreading is the final step before publishing. This gig is not for manuscripts who have not gone through copy editing. This is a last pass through the manuscript for typos, spelling errors, punctuation errors, grammar errors, and formatting issues.

I proofread all genres.

How does it work? Send me a message to inquire about availability and share a bit more about your project. We'll chat about your project, your needs, and your goals. I am happy to provide a free sample of 1500 words, so you can get a feel for my style.

What does it cost? I charge $0.006/word for proofreading.

I work in Microsoft Word files. I'll edit, then send you the files described below. We can chat about any follow-up questions as needed.

You will receive:

• A copy of your document with changes, suggestions, and queries.
• A brief editorial letter.
