Will my website go down during the update?
Usually only for a few minutes, or not at all. I take a full backup before making any change, so your site can be restored quickly if anything goes wrong.
What access do you need from me?
For WordPress: a temporary admin user and hosting or cPanel access. For Next.js: access to your Git repository and hosting (Vercel, Netlify or VPS). Please create a separate user for me instead of sharing your main password.
My hosting does not offer the latest PHP version. What happens then?
I will check which versions your host supports and choose the safest one available. If an update is needed on the hosting side, I will tell you exactly what to ask your hosting provider.
What if a plugin or theme breaks after the update?
I test your key pages, forms and checkout after every update. If something breaks, I fix it or roll back to the backup and explain the cause, so you are never left with a broken site.
Do you clean hacked websites or remove malware?
This gig focuses on updates and prevention. If I notice signs of a hack while working, I will stop and tell you before doing anything else, so we can decide the next step together.
Which package should I choose?
Basic is for a quick PHP or core update on one site. Standard also covers all plugins, themes and full testing. Premium is for major upgrades or multiple sites. Message me your site URL and I will recommend the right one.
Can you migrate my website to a new platform or hosting?
Yes. I can move your site to new hosting, or from WordPress to Next.js and vice versa. Migration is planned separately from this gig, so please message me with your current setup and I will send a custom offer.
Can you redesign or develop a new website for me?
