Most REST APIs yes. SOAP or legacy APIs need a conversation first — message me.
Do I need to share my API key?
Yes, temporarily for testing. I'll tell you how to revoke and re-enter it yourself after delivery.
Will it break if the API changes?
I'll document everything clearly so you understand how it works. If the API changes down the track (which is usually rare for larger companies), a small update is usually quick — and I'm happy to help.
Does this require a paid Excel plan?
Power Query is included in Excel 2016+ and Microsoft 365. No extras needed.
What if I don't know my API's structure?
Share the docs or a sample response and I'll work from that.
Can it refresh automatically?
Power Query refreshes on demand or on file open. Fully automatic background refresh depends on your Microsoft 365 setup — message me and I'll tell you what's possible for your situation.
